If you live in my area (Raleigh, NC), I
don't have to explain "March Madness" to you. We are serious about
ACC basketball, and everyone has a favorite team. (Go Wolfpack!!) The ACC
tournament starts today and the Madness will continue until the NCAA
has a winner.
However, for me, the madness began
earlier, with one challenge after another. Car problems – yes, plural; clients
who missed appointments; the loss of a very dear friend; and feeling so far
behind that I just couldn't catch up. Thankfully, I had a wonderful, relaxed
week in Sedona the last week of February to "power up."
Times like these are when I especially
turn to Young Living
essential oils. I not only use them myself, but I give them away like candy on
Halloween since everyone around me is also dealing with their own stressful
situations.
Don't underestimate their power. To calm
frazzled nerves, try Peace
& Calming, Tranquil,
or Stress
Away blends. Or try Lavender (the Old
Faithful) for whatever ails you. Valor is good
to use every day to restore a sense of balance. I've even pulled out some old
friends I haven’t used in a while: Grounding,
Hope, Harmony and Motivation,
all of which helped me overcome feelings of being overwhelmed.
Some of the madness should calm down
after this Sunday, when Mercury turns direct (yea!). Until then, I will keep
"anointing" myself and everyone else with whatever it takes!
