Announcing the end of the blog...

If you read my March Newsletter, you know I am downsizing to a single treatment room at Long Life Wellness Center in Cary effective April 1.

I’m at a point of making changes to simplify both my professional and personal life. It’s time to work a little less! With that in mind, I’ve decided to discontinue the monthly blog. I will still be sending out the Newsletter the first of each month to keep you informed of specials and any news.

You can access all the previous blogs here, where you can browse every essential oil topic I've covered between 2012 and now. If you can't find what you're looking for, send me an email and I'll help you track it down.

Romance with Essential Oils

Let’s talk romance! It’s not just for Valentine’s Day.

Essential oils have long been used to enhance romance, attract the opposite sex or create a romantic atmosphere. The Young Living Sensation blend can be quite refreshing and arousing and is made from Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Geranium, Bergamot and Coriander. You can also get this scent in a hand & body lotion, a bath & shower gel and even a massage oil. Apply a few drops to your skin and/or diffuse – it’s fabulous!

My favorite perfume for many years has been the Joy blend. I always get so many comments – “You smell so good!” I find it quite uplifting as well.

A few of my other favorites include Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Jasmine and Rose.

Try a few or make up your own blend. Let me know your favorites!

Finding your post-holiday groove

After a wonderful vacation on Maui and the holidays in December, I’m trying to settle back into my regular routine this month.

Some of my favorite Young Living essential oil blends are helping:

Brain Power is full of sesquiterpene compounds that may increase activity in the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus glands. This blend may also help dissolve petrochemicals in the brain.

Clarity is my go-to when I need to concentrate – or when I need a little energy boost.

Motivation helps when I find myself procrastinating and need to tackle a project or task.

I’d love to hear what helps you!
