Young Living Essential Oils for Lyme Disease

Since Lyme disease is a viral infection, essential oils that are highly anti-viral can be helpful in conjunction with treatment prescribed by your doctor.

Single oils to try include Thyme, Clove, Melissa, Oregano, Myrrh, Eucalyptus Blue, and Ocotea.

Young Living recommended blends include PanAway, Melrose, Thieves, and Exodus II.

To use:
·         Apply 1-2 drops neat or diluted to the back of the neck, as desired.
·         Massage 2-4 drops on the soles of the feet before bedtime.
·         Diffuse your choice of oils for 1/2 hour every 4-6 hours.

Young Living supplements include essential oils. One of my favorites is Inner Defense, a natural "anti-biotic" that is also anti-viral. And try Detoxzyme. You can also ingest the recommended oils (Young Living only, please!) in a capsule or by adding to food.

In case of a tick bite, this helpful regimen comes from an older version of the Essential Oils Desk Reference: Apply Thyme oil to tick to loosen from skin. Apply Thieves or Purification on site to detoxify wound. Apply 1 drop Peppermint every 5 minutes for 50 minutes to reduce pain and infection.

I also recommend Raindrop Treatments.
